Jewish Feasts And Holy Days

Should Christians Celebrate The Jewish Festivals?

Do God's Spring And Fall Feasts And Holy Days Apply To Christians

Does God Want Christians To Celebrate His Festivals And Holy Days?

What religious holidays should Christians celebrate? Christmas and Easter? Does the Bible instruct us to observe them? Did anyone in any New Testament celebrate them? Are these just man-made religious holidays with no explicit command in any version of the Bible to celebrate them? So why do we do it? Why observe holidays that are commonly known as being pagan based?

So what religious festivals should we celebrate if not Christmas and Easter? Does Scripture even tell us? Why do churches totally ignore the special Festivals that God gave us? Is it because we have been falsely taught that God gave them ONLY for the Jews?

Do the Old Testament "Jewish" Feasts prefigure something for believers in the New Testament? Are "types" and "anti-types" used by God concerning these special times? Read my full Bible Studies below for a full explanation.

Most churches teach the Feasts were just part of the Old Covenant and were "nailed to the cross." So do they believe if Christians keep them they would be under "legalism" for their salvation?

Does Leviticus 23:2-4 plainly tell us what God calls HIS Feasts?

Would you be shocked if you saw that the New Testament showed examples of Gentile believers, saved by grace, celebrating God's Feasts? Do Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Acts, 1 Corinthians, Colossians, 2 Peter and Jude all make reference to believers observing them? Find out in the main Bible Studies below.

Does Colossians 2:17 show that these are a shadow of God's plan to save all mankind? Are there verses like Colossians 2:16 used by some believers saying these special celebrations were "done away with," and "hung on the cross," but in fact show Gentile congregations keeping them? Did the original disciples observe them or did they celebrate Christmas and Easter?

These studies are provided in two parts, 3 Spring and 4 Fall.

In this first study, the Spring Festivals and Holy Days of Passover, The Days of Unleavened Bread, and The Feast of Weeks, called Pentecost, will be covered.

Should Christians Keep Jewish Spring Feasts And Holy Days?

In this second study, the Fall Festivals and Holy Days of The Feast of Trumpets, The Day of Atonement, The Feast of Tabernacles, and The Last Great Day will be covered.

Should Christians Keep Jewish Fall Feasts And Holy Days?

I labeled them as "Jewish" Festivals because that is what the world knows them as. Even believers don't know they are God's holy times. We have lost out on many blessings by not keeping these times that are so special to God, but even today we can keep them doing what we can to observe them. It's our attitude, effort, and intent that counts with God. I hope you find these studies informative.
