Does the Bible actually say anything about Christians keeping the 10 commandments? Do the verses in John 14:15, John 14:21, and 1 John 2:3-4 apply to Christians today?
Is commandment keeping applicable to modern followers of Christ after being saved by Grace? Do we still need to obey God's laws after Jesus saves us?
Isn't keeping any of the law legalistic and us trying to earn our salvation by works? Doesn't Ephesians 2:8 and Galatians 2:15 say we are justified by Grace? If that's true why do we need to keep any laws?
Was Jesus speaking about commandment keeping in Matthew 5:19 when He said "THESE," followed by magnifying several of them?
Isn't there just one law for believers to "love" everyone?
The Bible states that the 10 commandment Laws actually hang on the two great ones. Does it say they are replaced by them as many churches falsely teach?
Even churches that teach keeping them say that commandment #4, to rest on the 7th day, the Sabbath, was changed and we now should keep the 1st day, Sunday, as the Lord's day.
Do churches have the authority to change any of God's laws?
What about the new commandment Jesus gave us to love one another? What is the importance of keeping ALL 13 and not just this one?
But wait a minute, wasn't the law given by God to Moses just for the Jews?
Does John 10:30 clearly show that the Father and Son are one; therefore, wouldn't their laws also be one?
Is it logical to believe that God is actually divided? Did He give one set of His eternal Law to the Jews and another set of magnified 10 commandments for Christians?
Many people resist God's WILL. They don't want to show love for Jesus by keeping any of God's laws. Shouldn't we show our faith and love by doing what God commands?
He clearly states His laws remain in effect today in 1 John 5:3. "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments"
