Wednesday Night is a special time for SCBC. Like so many other South County Christian Churches there is a family dinner, as well as other activities providing opportunities for all ages. Everyone gathers to eat, talk, laugh, study, and pray as a church family. You and your family are welcome to come any Wednesday evening and take a break from your busy week. Good food and good conversation is a pleasant combination at South County Baptist Church!
 Family Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $3.00 per person, $2.00 for children under 10. There is a cap of $8.00 per family. This is a time to share an inexpensive, delicious meal, and talk with other families. If you would like to join in please call the church office by noon Wednesday if possible, and mention how many in your family will be coming for dinner.
 Youth meet each Wednesday from 6:15-7:30 p.m. The program has a different emphasis each week, but the primary theme is "Under Construction". Junior and Senior High students begin with recreation and then study from God's Word on a variety of topics. AWANA ministry for children meets right after the family dinner. Game time, Bible Stories, Scripture memorization, and other exciting and fun activities take place until 7:45 p.m. (See the Children's Ministry page for more details.)
Everyone (except the youth and children) gather for prayer and Bible Study at 6:30 p.m. This is a time that everyone prays for one another and the needs of SCBC members, families, and friends. If you have a prayer request you can call the office. The prayer group will pray for your needs during the meeting. This is followed by a short Bible Study for this group.
The ESL (English as a second language) program meets at 6:15 p.m. in the lower annex.
The Worship Choir rehearsals meet at 7:45 p.m. in the worship center.
There is an A. A. group meeting at 7:45 p.m. in the lower annex.
