  The Senior Ministry of South County Baptist Church is an active group. You won't find most of them sitting on the sidelines. They are very much in the game of life. Regular fellowship meetings and trips are scheduled throughout the year that gives everyone the opportunity for as much involvement as they desire. The senior choir, "The Silvertones" rehearse each Monday and provides special music at Sunday services every month. Seniors are counted as persons of worth, both for their past accomplishments and their many and varied present contributions. They are the backbone of the prayer meeting on Wednesday evenings, faithfully praying for all who have need. They lovingly encourage one another through all kinds of difficulties. They are looked upon as fine Christian examples for the younger members. It's common to regularly draw upon their wisdom to help with every ministry at SCBC.
