The VISION

Care Ministry members do not believe that visitors come to the congregation by accident. They believe it is by divine appointment. Guests are very important. The members of this team personally meet visitors with a friendly smile and a warm greeting when they arrive. They help them feel welcomed and offer assistance to them concerning the worship service and appropriate Bible study classes. If they have children they will help them find the right children's class as well. If the visitor has any special needs they will help them provide for them. They seek to minister to all visitors, pray with them, understand their needs, and build relationships. The goal is to help assimilate them into the fellowship and life of SCBC making everyone who visits feel loved, accepted and welcomed into our spiritual family. If you are the kind of person who wears a happy smile on your face and really enjoys meeting new people and making them feel like they are welcome, then you may be just the person to become a greeter at the front door.
