Who was the unhappy person that started the false rumor that it isn't fun to be a Christian? You won't find him at SCBC! Yes, it can be fun to be a Christian! The Activities Ministry makes sure of that by featuring crafts, drama, social and sports events, for all ages throughout the year. The whole person is emphasized as opportunities are provided for personal and spiritual growth that is both enjoyable and rewarding. They provide support to existing program ministries and also add in some good Christian fellowship. Family Day at the ballpark is just one of many things that SCBC participated in this year. It's family fun with the purpose of sharing Jesus with other sports fans. Ice Cream Socials, church picnics, and many other events fill the calendar each year.
